Why did the login method change?

We’ve simplified your signup/login experience by providing you with a more straightforward and reliable way for you to access your account without the need to check your emails every time you need to login. 

You still have the option to login using Google or Apple ID. 

How does the new login method work?

For new users:

  • Email Verification: You’ll enter your preferred email address and a security code will be sent to that email address. We’ll need you to enter this code as proof of ownership of the email address you provided.

  • Creating a Password: Once your email address is verified, you’ll be prompted to create a password for your account. 

  • Note: your password must contain:

    • Minimum of 8 characters

    • 1 uppercase character (A-Z)

    • 1 lowercase character (a-z)

    • 1 number (0-9)

    • 1 special character (e.g !,@,#,$)

  • Setting up a 4-digit PIN: Once you have set up your password, you’ll be prompted to create a 4-digit login pin for your account. 

  • Biometric Login Setup: Once your 4-digit pin is set up, you can choose to set up a biometric login (fingerprint for Android and Face ID for iOS). This allows you to log in faster and more easily without needing to provide your PIN.

For existing users:

  • Email Verification: You’ll enter the email address associated with your Send App account and a security code will be sent to the email address. We’ll need you to enter this 6-digit code to verify the email address..

  • Creating a Password: Once your email address is verified, you’ll be prompted to create a password for your account. 

    • Note: your password must contain:

      • Minimum of 8 characters

      • 1 uppercase character (A-Z)

      • 1 lowercase character (a-z)

      • 1 number (0-9)

      • 1 special character (e.g !,@,#,$)

This ensures the security of your account.

  • Logging in: Once you have set up your password, you’ll be prompted to log into your account by entering your 4-digit login pin or using biometric login (if you have set this up previously).

What if I haven’t received the verification code in my email?

This could be as a result of any of the reasons below.

  • You entered an incorrect email address during sign up

  • Your confirmation email arrived in the Spam or Junk folder. Look in these sections if you don’t get the email in your inbox. 

If you’re still yet to get the confirmation email, please contact our support team for assistance via the chat messenger in your app.

Will my account be affected by this change?

Not at all. This update only changes how you log in. All your account information and settings remain the same.

Can I still use social login?

Absolutely, Apple/Google login options are still available for your convenience.
